If i bought a domain name from another website but my web site is from free webs what do i do.
1 ask freewebs http://members.webs.com/pages/contact/ how to do that
they create subdomain(s)
which are not actually domains
and hence it may not be a simple domain transfer
if your freeweb domain has traffic, i hope freeweb people can transfer traffic to your domain.

Hi,I want to get a free domain name and web hosting because my friends and I are opening a business and we would like a website. In my job, I’ve inherited responsibility for a website that was set-up long before I started working here. There are no records as to who the domain name is registered with and what the domain’s passwords, etc, are. We’re about to shift to a new hosting company and I need to know this info – how can I find out? Thanks
1 Or you could simply go to Whois.net. It is possible, however, that the registar that the domain was registered with, has protected the information of the person who registered it. Best of luck!
