Is It Ok To Be Vegan, But To Avoid Making A Fuss, Eat What Your Host Serves When You Are A Guest?
I am interested in hearing your opinion! I have just wondered about this from time to time. I am vegan and when I am a dinner guest I normally just offer to bring my own main dish. In instances where this can’t happen, I opt for the side dishes and just avoid the meat. But obviously it’s hard to know what’s in everything you eat! I guess I just don’t want to look like a hypocrite, while at the same time not creating a fuss over my choice of diet. Any advice? Thanks so much!!

What Was Your Opinion Of Last Night’s Oscars?
I thought overall they were a pretty bad failure, BUT there were some great moments. I thought Martin and Baldwin did a good job hosting, (and I’m not usually a fan of Martin’s hosting abilities), and it ran pretty smoothly until about halfway through. It soon got boring, the “throwback” feel hurt the oscars, (and how could they not learn anything about last year, one of the best reviewed oscars in years?). The “dance” montage to the original scores was just plain odd, and the final moments, which should have been marked by suspense and a step back to comment on the winners was marred by the Oscars trying to rush through the most important awards of the night. The way Tom Hanks revealed the Hurt Locker won the top prize was near criminal. What were your thoughts?
