I’m new to creating websites and I’m wondering if I want to just edit and create my website do i need to buy web hosting now or can i wait until later? So, can i just purchase a domain name?

1 Sky.Uk.Net is pretty cheap. But I wouldn’t host with them anyway. Buy the domain name with Sky.Uk.Net and then host it with HostGator. You will end up with a much better deal. They have good prices and their support is great. What is great too, is that they have 24/7 support. So even though they are US based you can still get help anytime since we are in a different time zone here than they are in the US.

2 Does the Web Hosting have to be in the UK ? I suppose it can be to your advantage when having to deal with any queries but having a Host overseas should`nt cause any problems.

Can anyone tell me a site for free web hosting?
Actually, I want to make my own website and I don’t like those WYSIWYG designers.I want such a site where I can make pages on my own and upload them on to that site via FTP, or somewhat like that. I know HTML,CSS,Java,VB Scripting fairly well.
Also,it should offer some small or less complicated Domain name.
Note-pls, I don’t like trials and I don’t want them……………
